NHS Hack Scotland - Edinburgh
23rd and 24th of March 2013
NHS Hack Scotland was a free, volunteer run event that aimed to get people who work in the NHS together with software developers, designers and anyone else with bright ideas to build something marvelous (and open source) over the course of a weekend!
The aim was to work together to build usable software solutions with the potential to improve healthcare.
The people who came had all sorts of ideas to improve how people work in or experience using the NHS. Over 48 hours over 75 people who were passionate about the NHS and supporting it brought some fantastic ideas to life.
We already have pictures up of the weekend, a storified record of how it unfolded and a preliminary list (and github details) of the projects. We hope to stick up videos of the final presentations soon. Thank you so much to everyone who came, volunteered their time for free and made it a fabulous weekend!
Will there be another? Watch this space...

Although we recieve our funds from an NHS body we're not part of the NHS, nor do we speak for any part of it, all our views are our own!
